Description:

Union™ UPLC Low Cure range is a low cure ink system with a recommended cure temperature of 270°F/132°C. The UNIMIX Seeries allows the printer to mix color in the Pantone® Matching System. This is the most universally known color matching system. It is easy to use, plue there are currently over 1000 colors in the Pantone® System.

SPECIFICATIONS:

USES: For use on direct printed 100% polyester and polyester blend fabrics. Ideal for controlling dye migration on Athletic uniforms or any other nasty bleeding fabrics.

FINISH: Cures to a matte finish.

OPACITY: Excellent opacity on fabrics.

DRYING TIME: 7 Series plastisol inks will not air dry. They must be heat cured. OMNI Series inks will fully cure and withstand repeated washings when the entire ink deposit reaches 270° to a maximum of 320°F. For best results, use a print-flash-print technique to ensure sufficient ink deposit on dark fabrics. Avoid excessive flash temperatures to protect fabric and migration of dyes. Depending on flash unit, a 3 - 5 second flash is adequate. Poor wash ability can generally be traced to under curing!

SCREEN FABRIC: Use coarse meshes, from 86 to 230 monofilament polyester.

SCREEN COATING, FILM, BLOCKOUT: Use water soluble hand-cut, photo screens and blockouts with this ink or use other suitable products. A heavy stencil is recommended for which capillary films work well.

MODIFIERS: OMNI inks are ready to use straight from the can. Since plastisol inks Òbody upÓ as they sit in the container, you should always stir ink well to determine the actual printing viscosity before adding reducer. The viscosity of OMNI inks has been carefully formulated to sit on top of the fabric when printed. Reducing may cause the ink to penetrate the fabric, reducing coverage and bleed resistance. If reducing, use only small amounts of UPLRE-9000 as a reducer or detackifier.

SQUEEGEE: Medium: 60-70, 60/90/60 Profile: sharp, square_Stroke: x1 stroke, medium speed Angle: 10-20°

WASHUP: T-125 or biodegradable washup SYS-2500, SYS-2550 or SYS-2520 screen wash gel.
