  2. DISCHARGE INKS
<p>Plasticharge Additive (DSPCH-9070) makes it easy to print bright, colorful, soft-hand prints on discharge-dyed garments by transforming selected Union Ink plastisol inks into discharge inks. A unique feature of Plasticharge prints is that they are water absorbent.</p>
Plasticharge 
<p>Discharge printing is a process where water-based inks are applied to certain "dischargeable" dark colored garments to produce very bright, soft prints. As the discharge inks are printed and heat cured, the original dyes on the garment are being reduced, or "discharged", from the image area and the printed image is bonded to the fabric. The result is a brightly colored, opaque print which has been applied directly to a virtually "undyed" area of the fabric. These prints will have a very soft hand. Preprint Discharge is a discharge ink system designed for use as an underbase for plastisol overprinting on dischargeable fabrics. Regular opacity and soft hand plastisols such as Union Ink's Ultrasoft PLUE, PRPE, and PTHF Series are overprinted, producing bright, soft hand plastisol prints on dark 100% cotton fabrics. As the Preprint is a discharge product, the desired effect can only be achieved on "dischargeable" fabrics.</p>

ZFS Discharge Agent 
Excalibur's formaldehyde-free Dye Discharge System yields excellent results when printers want a soft-hand feel on 100% cotton dark garments. When activated with DC-294 Discharge Agent the printed inks sink down into the fabrics destroying the dyes in the garment. The DC-2012 is a clear that can be pigmented with pigments to produce dischargebable colors, can be printed as an underbase for plastisol colors to be printed on top of, or can be used by itself to discharge garments to the original straw color of the cotton . The DC-2018 is a highly pigmented white to use as a stand-alone white or as an underbase to overprint plastisol colors. Either ink when used as an underbase will produce softer prints when compared to traditional plastisol underbases. Because different garment manufacturers use different dyes and processes to manufacture their garments testing is required to determine how well this process will work on a particular brand and color of garment.

<p>Brite Discharge Base is a milky discharge binder for Screen Printing and has excellent compatibility with discharge agent. When pigment is added to this base, vivid color will remain after discharge. This dye-discharging Binder Base will leave the natural shirt color after heat curing on many 100% cotton shirts It can also be tinted with NEO concentrates for a one-step process that leaves the added color after discharging. </p>

<p>Brite Discharge White is a white discharge binder for Screen Printing and has excellent compatibility with discharge agent. When pigment is added to this white, vivid color will remain after discharge. This dye-discharging Binder Base will leave white shirt color after heat curing on many 100% cotton shirts It can also be tinted with NEO concentrates for a one-step process that leaves the added color after discharging. </p>
