USES: High deposit lead-free plastisol SHIMMER METALLIC inks with excellent opacity. These inks will heat cure to a glittering textured, or "shimmer" finish. These inks have outstanding brightness relative to regular metallics, and unlike standard glitter inks will not tarnish with age or washing.
OPACITY: The opacity and flexibility of the finished prints are excellent; may be printed on black or dark colored grounds. Will stretch and recover well.
DRYING TIME: Plastisol inks WILL NOT AIR DRY. They must be heat cured. These inks will fully cure and withstand repeated washings when the entire ink deposit reaches 300°F (149°C). Curing can be accomplished with the use of a conveyer dryer, flash curing unit, or simple infrared heater.
SCREEN FABRIC:For direct printing use 60-86 (24-36 metric) monofilament, except for the black which should be printed through a 110 mesh (43 metric).
SCREEN COATING, FILM, BLOCKOUT: Direct and indirect photostencils, or water soluble, knife-cut stencils are suitable.
MODIFIERS: These inks are supplied Ready-for-Use. PLUS-9000 Reducer/Detackifier may be added if a thinner consistency is required. Always stir well to break down false body and determine actual working viscosity prior to adding reducer.
WASHUP: T-125 or biodegradable washup SYS-2500, SYS-2550 or SYS-2520 screen wash gel.
