Excalibur's Performance Plus is a new, state of the art, low-cure series of plastisol inks formulated for decorating today's specialized performance wear fabrics. Performance Plus's low-cure temperature of 270°Fahrenheit (132°C) make it an excellent choice when trying to to prevent shrinkage and scorching of heat-sensitive, synthetic fabrics. Performance Plus's creamy, easy-printing consistency, opacity and smooth soft surface in finished prints also makes it an excellent, all-around choice for 100% cotton and 50/50 poly/cotton blends.
The plasticizers used to formulate this ink series are not bleed-resistant, Performance Plus must be underbased with Excalibur's reformulated Defender Dye Blockers to help withstand dye migration.TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
Fabric: 100% Cotton, 50/50 poly/cotton blends, 100% Polyester with 1082 LB White, and, or Defender Dye Blocker
Gel Temp: Ink will surface gel at 240°F (116°C)
Curing: Prints will fully cure when the entire ink film reaches 270°F (132°C) for at least 15 seconds
Mesh: 83-230/inch (32T-92Tcm)
Stencil: Any stencil compatible with plastisol inks may be used
Squeegee: 70 durometer or 90/70/90 triple durometer blades are recommended
Clean-up: Use Enviro Series 2000 Green or Enviro Series TR Blend
