Transfer the blockout to a pint or quart squeeze bottle. Starting on one of the long sides, squeeze a bead of blockout on the edge of the film or emulsion. Be careful to not cover any for the printing area. Using a stiff card or applicator squeegee, spread the blockout to the outside of the screen using a quick, smooth stroke. Work from the inside out toward the frame. Be careful not to leave thick spots as these can affect the squeegee stroke. After the first side is done, repeat in the opposite side concluding with the two short sides. After the blockout is dry, inspect for pin holes. Touch these up with a brush. p>
