Description:

Poly/Cotton Blends - Eclipse Low Bleed White PLHE1060 is a high opacity, low tack formulation which allows printing through finer mesh counts without the need for a viscosity modifier. PLHE-1060 has good low bleed characteristics for printing on poly/cotton blends. Use as an underlay where great opacity and good fiber mat down is needed, as a stand-alone white, or a highlight white.

SPECIFICATIONS:

USES: Direct print low-bleed white for controlling dye migration on polyester blended garment. Bleed-resistant under base for polyester blended garments.

PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS: For the best coverage, bleed resistance and brightest print, adjust the off-contact distance and squeegee pressure to print the ink layer on top of the printed fabric rather than penetrating through it.

OPACITY: Eclipse White is a high-opacity, low-bleed, low tack ink.

DRYING TIME: Eclipse White will fully cure and withstand repeated washings when the entire ink deposit reaches 320°F. Eclipse White is a superior quality low-bleed ink. To enhance its ability to prevent dye migration, flashing should be the minimum time and temperature necessary to surface cure the ink.

SCREEN FABRIC: Print through 86-230 monofilament polyester. Because of the excellent printing characteristics of Eclipse White it may be printed as an under base. Caution: Thinner deposits of ink will reduce the effectiveness of the bleed resistance properties. On some polyester blends thinner deposits may not be possible.

SCREEN COATING, FILM, BLOCKOUT: Use water soluble hand-cut, direct emulsion photo screens and almost any blockouts with this ink.

MODIFIERS: Eclipse White is supplied ready to print. The viscosity of Eclipse White has been carefully formulated to sit on top of the fabric when printed. Reducing the ink is not recommended unless absolutely necessary as over-reduction could cause a loss of bleed resistance and opacity.

WASHUP: T-125 mineral spirits, or biodegradable washes SYS-2500, SYS-2550 or SYS-2510 screen wash gel.
