Phosphorescent Pigment

Description:

Phosphorescent Pigments (Glow-in-Dark) produce unusual "glow-in-the-dark" effects. PP-30 is a light green pigment in the daylight with a green after glow; mix 5-7 lbs. per gallon with clear base. Refer to individual ink line pages for correct base for use. Coverages up to 300 square feet per gallon through a 140 monofilament mesh. The length of time the after glo lasts depends on the amount of pigment deposited. PP-30 is a compliance pigment. Store pigments only in glass or polyethylene containers and use a glass or wood stirrer as metal affects the glow. (30 micron) See the "Read More" for mixing instructions. Sold in 1 lb. containers.

SPECIFICATIONS:

MIXING: To prepare a Fluorescent Pigment ink of proper printing consistency it is necessary to determine which clear base to use (this depends upon the substrate to be printed). You MUSTmix the pigment with the recommended thinner until a heavy paste is obtained. If the powder in not mixed into a paste, the powder will "clump up" and not mix evenly into the base.

RATIOS: Add the clear base and mix well. Use approximately 5-7 lbs. of phosphorescent pigment to a gallon of base. Use monofilament 140 mesh for best results.
