Epson inkjets start out as color output devices. With the majority of slots in an Epson designated to color, these cartridges do NOT have value in the film output process. All Black Ink is a better bulk ink system because it provides high-quality dye ink (not pigment ink) delivered in cartridges (the way an Epson inkjet is engineered to deliver ink).
All Black Ink is managed automatically by the RIP (AccuRIP is the ONLY RIP that can do this) and dispenses a controlled amount of ink from each slot to your film during output. This helps maintain the life of your device. When each slot is routinely used during output, the nozzles are all being used. The result is less clogs and even NO clogs for some users.
