  • PET-1500 YELLOW (Formerly PECAP LE)
Swiss Monofilament Polyester - Plain Weave
Pet-1500 low elongation monofilament polyester has excellent registration accuracy and dimensional stability. It surpasses ordinary screen fabric in chemical and mechanical abrasion resistance, and equalization of warp and weft elongation. Pet-1500 is recommended for fine line reproduction, large screens, halftones, and multicolor work demanding dimensional stability. Pet-1500 is available in white, and Yellow. Pet-1500 Yellow offers Optimum balance between reduced light scatter and ease of registration. The exposure time is longer, and contrast between fabric surface and emulsion coating is improved. Yellow offers the most uniform color density.

    PET-1500 YELLOW - TWILL
Twill is similiar in thickness to the plain weave shown above. The difference is in how they are woven. Twill is woven either 2 strands over, one strand under; or 2 strands over 2 strands under. This leads to more open area in the mesh, and therfore a greater ink deposit.
